Tracey, Family Support Practitioner
"Thank you, thank you, thank you, I have had the best day ever! It was so much fun, it was a brilliant day!" Is a quote directly from a little girl. I wish everyone who has ever donated, helped, supported OCH could have the belly laughing of this little girl who was treated to adventure golf and McDonald's today, I promise you it was the pure delight.

Thank you so much to Operation Community Hamper, for funding SEN holiday sessions for a family who were very isolated. By providing these sessions the family were able to lessen isolation, find peer support and friendships that impacted positively on both mum and child.

Sue, Social Worker
We work with young people that find it hard to take gifts of kindness but we have seen very grateful families gratefully receiving the gifts we brought them. One mum was in tears as she didn't get paid until after Christmas and said "this has saved her Christmas". I look forward to doing it all again next year with you.

Prom Dress Service
Operation Community Hamper (OCH) is a charity that supports families throughout the year. While we originally focused on providing help at Christmas, we have increasingly recognised that many families need support beyond the festive season, which has led us to expand our work into schools and wider community support. Last year, a request from a family struggling with the cost of prom highlighted this growing need, and since then we have been working with schools to support Ye

Awards
OCH was incredibly proud to be named a finalist in the charity category at the Bristol Life Awards, a recognition that reflects the dedication and impact of our work within the community. This pride was further amplified by Charlotte’s nominations for a Pride of Britain Award in 2025 and a Legend Award at the Bristol 24/7 Awards—an inspiring acknowledgement of her commitment and leadership. Moments like these are not just celebrations of achievement; they play a vital role in

The event was a great success, raising over £800 to support our work. Building on this momentum, we’re excited to make quiz nights a regular fixture, with the next one already planned for June. Events like these capture what OCH is all about—bringing the community together, in the community, to raise fund

We proudly hosted two vibrant drag nights—one in October 2025 and another in March 2026—which together raised over £3,000 in support of our work. Each event brought energy, creativity, and a strong sense of community, while also attracting a broader and more diverse audience than our usual programmes. OCH Fire Walk
OCH were incredibly fortunate to team up with Age UK South Gloucestershire, who generously opened the door for us to take part in their unforgettable fire walk. On a cold October Saturday, a brave team of 15 stepped forward and quite literally walked over hot coals in the name of something bigger than themselves. It wasn’t just about courage—it was about community, determination, and belief in the difference we can make together. And what a difference they made: raising over
