Operation Community Hamper's second annual Afternoon Tea proved to be a truly spectacular affair, as 164 guests stepped into the glamorous world of Bridgerton for an unforgettable event that raised an incredible £5,036 for local vulnerable families in need.

From the elegant décor to the exquisite spread of teas and treats, every detail created an atmosphere worthy of the ton itself — warm, celebratory, and full of community spirit.

Young People Take Centre Stage

Perhaps the most heartwarming element of the afternoon was the outstanding contribution of 17 young people, aged between 9 and 17, who stepped up to provide the waiting service for the event. Dressed for the occasion and carrying themselves with professionalism and pride, these remarkable young individuals were the true stars of the day — demonstrating that the spirit of community runs deep across every generation.

Their dedication and enthusiasm drew admiration from guests throughout the afternoon, and their involvement speaks volumes about the values at the heart of Operation Community Hamper: that supporting others is something everyone, at any age, can be part of.

A Community Coming Together

With 164 guests uniting around a shared purpose, the £5,036 raised will go directly towards supporting local vulnerable families — providing the kind of practical, meaningful help that makes a real difference to people's lives.

Building on the success of two outstanding annual events, the best is very much yet to come for Operation Community Hamper.

Lady Whistledown herself would approve.
