The 2024 Appeal produced 1010 Christmas Hampers full of luxury food and drink items and 900 Gift Bags full of bespoke Christmas presents. Huge thanks to Bristol Rovers for hosting our Hamper Weekend and to all the other incredible businesses who donated items and their time including: Barber's, Burts Snacks, Bidfood, and Hobbs House Bakery. Thanks also to Fireaway Pizza and LJ Hugs for feeding our volunteers.

Thanks to First Bus we took our first Christmas Fundraising Carol Bus on the road - travelling to Bath, Bristol, Weston-super-Mare and North Somerset, raising money, collecting food donations and spreading Christmas cheer.

OCH hosted its first business event, a cheese & wine night with local businesses where we shared our story and our goals for Christmas 2024. It was a fantastic evening at Gloucestershire County Cricket Club where the business community came together and surrounded OCH with pledges of support. Huge thanks to Bidfood for the generous donation of cheese.

In June 2024, we held our first annual summer fayre. This event was a great success, raising over £2,500 and helping to support many local families throughout the summer holidays.

In March of 2024, Ten men braved the wax strip to raise funds for OCH, raising over £1000 for the charity. Some onlookers even donated extra to do the waxing themselves, whilst their loved ones squirmed as they parted company with sections of their hair.

Leading up to the festive seasons of Christmas and Easter, we have had food collection days at Bristol Rovers Football Club and Bristol City as well as other venues. We collect Easter eggs and Christmas goodies for our food hampers. 2024 will be the third year that the generous folk of Bristol contribute to OCH's mission.

In November 2023, LUSH Bath opened their doors to OCH, where we took donations for our Christmas campaign, raising over £500 across the weekend.
